Who we are

Pinecrest Structures sells portable buildings, sheds and tiny homes in Middle Georgia. Our office is at 7703 GA-26, Montezuma, GA 31063. You can reach us at (478) 662-4515 by call or text.

What we collect

When you order a building, ask us to call you, or send a design from our 3D shed builder, we collect what you type into the form: your name, phone number, and, if you give them, your email address, delivery ZIP code, the building you're interested in, how you'd like to pay and any notes. If you send a 3D design, we also receive the building you designed (size, options, colors, doors and windows). We also record which page you sent the request from and how you found our site (for example, the ad or search you clicked) so we know which advertising works.

When you order online

When you order a building or complete a checkout link we sent you, we collect your contact details and delivery address. For rent-to-own, the agreement details also include for your date of birth, your Social Security number, your county, employer and income, how you'll make the monthly payments, and a photo of your ID. Our rent-to-own provider needs your Social Security number to set up your agreement (there's no credit check). It's sent over an encrypted connection and stored encrypted; only the owner can view it, every view is recorded, and it's erased as soon as your agreement is entered, or 30 days after you send it at the latest. Your ID photo is kept in private storage that only Pinecrest staff can open, and it's deleted after your order is finished. Card payments are handled by Stripe on Stripe's own secure page; we never see or store your card number.

How we use it

We use your information to answer your request, prepare your estimate, process your order and payment, set up rent-to-own, arrange delivery, and follow up about your building. We use the ad and visit information to measure and improve our advertising. We don't sell your personal information, and we never send rent-to-own agreement details to advertising services.

Who processes it

Our website is hosted by Netlify. Requests, orders and rent-to-own agreement details are stored in our database with Supabase. Payments are processed by Stripe. Emails (confirmations, receipts and reminders) are sent through Resend. To check a delivery address, we send the street address (and nothing else about you) to the U.S. Census Bureau's address lookup. If you choose rent-to-own, we share what's needed to set up your agreement with our rent-to-own provider. We use Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand how people use the site and to measure our ads; Google processes that data under its own privacy policy.

Cookies and similar technology

Google Analytics and Google Ads use cookies and similar technology to count visits, see which pages are used and measure when someone who clicked an ad later places an order or asks us to call. Our site also saves a few things in your own browser so you don't have to re-type them: your in-progress 3D design, the ZIP code you checked, and how you first arrived at the site. That information stays in your browser until you clear it.

Our own visit statistics

To see how people use the site (which pages and buildings they look at, which colors and options they choose, where they stop in the order steps, how fast pages load and whether anything breaks), the site sends those steps to our own database with a random ID saved in your browser. It doesn't include your name, phone number, address, what you type into forms, or payment details, and we don't keep your IP address. We see an approximate city and state, never your exact location. If you order or send a request, we can connect that visit to your order. We keep these statistics for about 13 months. Turn off visit statistics on this device (turn back on).

Meta (Facebook and Instagram)

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. When we have it turned on, the Meta Pixel on this site tells Meta when someone views a building, starts checkout or places an order, so we can measure our ads; for a paid order we may also send Meta the order value and a scrambled (hashed) copy of the email and phone number so it can match the order to an ad. Meta processes that data under its own privacy policy. The Meta Pixel doesn't load if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal or if you turned off visit statistics above. You can manage ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com. To ask what information we have about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, call or text us at (478) 662-4515.

Children

Our website is meant for adults buying buildings. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date below.
